Orphan Dolphin Rescued

 

10-day old dolphin was discovered by walkers on a beach near Montevideo, Uruguay. No mother in site, rescue workers took him in and nursed him back to health.

The Southern Right Whale Dolphin

 

Southern right whale dolphins are small species found in cool to sub-antarctic waters of the Southern Hemisphere. They are found as far south as the antarctic convergence and as far north as 12 degrees in peru. They mainly live in deep ocean waters and only are found in deep coastal areas.
